When you are disposing of your old NEC computer or its parts it is important to remember to never, under any circumstances, simply throw them away. Used NEC parts should always be recycled rather than discarded because many of the parts contain toxic substances, most notably lead. Monitors, CPUs, various chips and cooling systems, and so forth should always be disposed of properly rather than just tossed into a waste basket to rot in a landfill when you have no more use for them. However, the problem with recycling electronic parts is that it is simply not always very easy or practical for a small business or an individual. Some states have passed laws banning the improper disposal of electronic parts, but few agencies have made it any easier on the average consumer.
Fortunately NEC offers its own recycling program to get rid of old used NEC parts and appliances. Their program consists of trading in the old equipment to receive a discount on a replacement item or a new model. Functional parts and equipment will, of course, get you a better rate than broken equipment, but either way it is a good deal for someone looking to save money and give the environment a break for once.
Another option available to you is to donate your old equipment instead of throwing it away. Some nonprofits, schools and other organizations will accept old or broken equipment and refurbish them on their own to service low income organizations and communities. This option requires you to do a little more research than simply logging on the company website, but at the same time it also has additional benefits to your community that can outweigh the slight inconvenience of tracking down a potential place to donate the items.

Florida requires that all vehicles with four wheels registered to drive have Florida auto insurance. The state of Florida requires drivers to purchase a minimum coverage of $10,000 personal injury protection, $10,000 property damage liability and this is valid with a Florida license plate.
Personal injury insurance is also known as “no fault insurance”. This means that an insurance company covers you regardless who is at fault in the accident. This insurance covers your child, other family members, and passengers who lack personal injury if they do not own a car. Those passengers who have their own insurance will be covered by their policies. This type of insurance will also cover your child while he/she rides in a school bus. It will also cover you if you are driving someone else’s vehicle and if you are a pedestrian in an accident.
Property damage addresses and pays for damages caused by you or family members while driving your vehicle. Property and personal injury are the minimum required by law in Florida but there are other insurances available and useful to have while driving in Florida. Bodily Injury is one of those policies.
Bodily Injury Liability, BIL, covers permanent injury or death to others if you cause a crash with your vehicle. Your insurance company will pay up to the amounts to the other party set by your insurance company and policy limitations. This coverage will pay also if you were driving some one else’s vehicle. It will also cover others who drive your car with your permission. In addition to the damages, the coverage will cover your legal expenses if you are sued. This coverage, although not required, is highly recommended.
Remember you have “Florida Coverage” under the law if you have an insurance policy by an insurance company licensed by the State of Florida under the Florida Department of Financial Services.
